Class 4 have some new class members ! Yeah ! How exciting. Watch how they change and grow.

We looked at the reproduction process in plants and animals.

We made and labelled a reproductive flowering plant .

This term our topic is forces.

We had fun exploring which surfaces create most friction, using newton or force meters.

Lancaster Universities Engineering Morning

This morning we were visited by Dr. Irene, an engineer from Lancaster University. To help with our science topic on forces, we investigated simple machines and then went on to make a complex machines, using at least 3 simple machines combined together, to solve a problem.

Simple Machines: pulley, lever. wedge. screw, inclined plane, wheel and axle
