Week Commencing 22nd June

This week we have been exploring light, dark and colour. The children have been busy exploring with mixing colours, creating tints and shades and learning about the artist Wassily Kandinsky and creating their own pieces based on his.

 

The children have enjoyed a variety of art making stain glass windows, cling film paintings, colour spinners, and nature sketches outside.

 

We also took part in a live Mad Science challenge mixing colours and learning about how light helps us to see different colours.

 

To finish off the week the children made their own rainbow bagels ☺️🌈🌟
