Our Lady of Lourdes Reading Policy

At Our Lady of Lourdes we use a range of Reading Schemes to support our children.

Our children begin their Reading Journeys by looking at letters and their sounds and then move onto a range of decodable books. 

This then leads them onto a range of other books that they read for enjoyment. 

Some of the schemes that we use are:
