Parent Share via Evidence Me app

Each week Miss Townson will send home a Newsletter to let you know what the children have been exploring that week. It will also include ideas of activities you can do at together to support your child’s learning at home. These will be set via the Evidence Me app. Parents can add notes and send photographs of the completed activities to share these experiences with school. Your child’s key worker will add these observations to your child’s learning journey.

Phonics

Teach Your Monster to Read is an award-winning series of games which helps children to master the key first stages of reading.  It’s been created by the Usborne Foundation, led by Peter Usborne (of Usborne Publishing). It’s free to play on a PC and laptop, or you can download the Teach Your Monster to Read app from the app store on phones and tablets. You can log in to your child’s game using the log in details we have sent home. 

Reading at Home 

The Oxford Owl eBook Library contains a wide selection of books from across Oxford’s most popular series. The books are carefully levelled and progress in reading difficulty from those appropriate for Reception right through to those suitable for Year 6.  Use the class name and password that has been provided to log in to the library. Miss Townson will inform you which level of books to read.
