Class 2

Welcome to Class 2!

smileyWeekly Hellosmiley

week ending 27/3/20

Hello Class Two,

I hope you are all staying safe and still smiling!

It has been a very different week than usual, but I hope with the sun shining it has been a happy time spent at home with your families.

Miss Powell has been busy thinking of lots of lovely challenges for you all to do whilst you are spending time safely at home.
After the Easter break I will be uploading our first story of the week with the new challenges!
It would be lovely to hear from you via email or see some of your work. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to email.

Look after each other,

speak soon,

Hope this gives you lots of ideas to keep you busy ๐Ÿ˜€

Hello, during this difficult and uncertain time I want to just take the opportunity to thank you all for your continued support and enthusiasm in your child’s learning.

If your child is going to be at home over this period, there will be weekly challenges for your child uploaded onto our class page. I will also be reading a story of the week. There will then be a challenge set based on the story.

I have sent home learning packs for each child which have a writing book inside. Your child can complete their story challenges inside this. Any other work can be stuck and recorded in their home learning books which have all been sent home.

Each child has been given a pack of seeds and pot as our topic in science has been plants. The children can care for and maintain their seeds, recording their findings in labelled drawing and sentences.

If anything, I hope this time together allows for extra stories, cuddles and time just spent together. I will miss all of my wonderful class very much.

Please email me if you have any questions or queries.

Hope to see you all soon,

Miss Powell :]

Phonics

We follow the Jolly Phonics scheme creating actions and rhymes to help us remember our spelling rules. There are lots of videos on Youtube. This is the same for our tricky words.
