We have been building a wood pile house for the snake.

The Tiger that came for Tea visited our class room while we were away!!!
He left lots of footprint so of we went to hunt for him!!
The children had so much fun making Tiger masks.
The Pre-school children enjoyed a lovely walk collecting leaves, sticks and acorns. We even spotted some slimy slugs!!!

The Pre-School children enjoyed a visit from a doctor and learnt lots!
We have also joined in with P.E and the children are great at getting change with little help.
The children love learning the number rhymes and are great with their numbers,
A huge welcome to all the new Pre-school children who have settled very well indeed into their new setting.
As you can see from the pictures we have been super busy this week exploring all the areas from the doctors to the construction area.
The children have enjoyed learning sounds and numbers, they have even joined in P.E where we are learning all about our bones.
We still have a few places left so please spread the word about our new Pre-school setting.
At Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Primary we offer 3 pre-school sessions a week. Tuesday, Thursday and Friday afternoons. These sessions are for children aged 3 - 4 years. Children from 2 can attend but must be accompanied by a parent/guardian.
We have great fun during our sessions where the children can use our continuous provision inside and outside the classroom. On Tuesdays the children also take part in our "Music and Movement" sessions.
These 3 sessions enables your child to see what school life is all about and helps with a smoother transition into Reception.
The Pre-School children enjoyed celebrating Chinese New Year and tasted some traditional Chinese foods.
We have also made some Roosters as it's the year of the Rooster.
Thursday 10th November
Today the pre-school children have been super busy!!
They have built towers as tall as Miss. Shooter and made a castle.
The children have had fun making a train track and playing with the play dough.
Lastly the children made a poppy.
Tuesday 18th October
Today we enjoyed learning about items we use for cleaning pots, clothes and ourselves.
We also enjoyed exploring the different colours and smells we could make from tea bags.
Tuesday 4th October
Today the pre-school children enjoyed making Hobnob biscuits with Miss. Shooter, they were very tasty!!
We had a great time on Thursday joining in with the Reception children. We explored outside and we did lots of jumping and balancing.

The Pre-school children enjoyed the outdoor classroom this week. We enjoyed baking birthday cakes in the mud Kitchen, throwing bean bags in the hoops and working together to make a train track.
Having fun during Music and Movement today. The children loved using the colourful scarves and moved around with them in different ways.
